理查‧考克具有多方面的才能，其著作也非常多，較著名的有The 80/20 Principle :The Secret of Achieving More with Less(中譯:80/20法則，1998年:大塊文化)
理查‧考克(Richard Koch)是英國知名的企業家、創投專家及
作家，年輕時創立英國著名的創投公司－LEK Partnership and Strategy Ventures plc.，在1980年代初期，協助拯救Filofax公司(文具用品公司)成功，使其股價在四年內上漲7倍，因而一戰成名，他也曾協助Blego公司(著名主題餐廳)及MSI公司(連鎖旅館)等遭遇財務困境的公司，理查‧考克目前仍擔任LEK Partnership and Strategy Ventures plc.、Advent Venture Capital Trust及William Baird plc.等公司的執行董事，並擔任Filofax、Belgo、MSI及Roxboro等公司的非執行董事。
